Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Parsley iOS app and the website at parsleyapp.co.uk (the "Service"), provided by Prism Labs Ltd ("Parsley", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use Parsley. The Service is intended for personal, family use.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account.
  • Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to share.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
  • Use automated systems to access the Service in ways that exceed reasonable use.
  • Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service.
  • Use the Service to process data of EU/UK data subjects in ways that breach data-protection law.

4. Subscriptions and payments

  • Paid features are sold via Apple's App Store and billed to your Apple ID.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its App Store refund policy.
  • Free trial periods, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

5. AI output disclaimer

Parsley uses third-party AI models to extract events from the content you provide. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or wrong. You remain responsible for reviewing every event before saving it to your calendar. Parsley is not liable for missed appointments, incorrect dates, or other consequences of relying solely on AI output without review.

6. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you import into Parsley. By using the Service you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to process, store and display that content solely to provide the Service to you.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. Where reasonable, we will notify you in advance of material changes.

8. Termination

  • You can delete your account at any time from in-app Settings.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to other users or to us.
  • On termination, your right to use the Service ends and your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property

The Parsley name, logo, app and website are owned by Prism Labs Ltd. These Terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property rights to you.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties (express or implied) including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability which cannot be excluded under UK consumer law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of data, missed appointments, or loss of opportunity.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Prism Labs Ltd against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Service.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be resolved in the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
